Russia New Horizon filmfest to screen two Iran animations

Two Iranian animations are to vie at New Horizon International Youth Festival of Short Cinema and Animation in Russia.

Directed by Amin Malakootikhah, ‘I'm Not Alone’ and Moslem Tabatabaee’s ‘Light Sight’ are the two animations to present Iran at the Russian festival.

The animation is the story of a person who tries to open various accounts on social media. He dies in an accident and social media members use an unusual way to remember him.

The 7-minute animation ‘Light Sight’ has one character and one setting. The character tries to escape from the room to get to the light he sees outside.

The 3D animation has won awards in scores of international festivals before.

New Horizon International Youth Festival of Short Films and Animation is a non-profit event, held annually in Voronezh. It is a competition of films of young talented authors.
